Manchester Live Music

Hey guys,

If you like live music, Manchester Academy has great concerts to offer. You can enjoy different groups and music styles at very reasonable prices and almost every day. If you are interested you can get the music program at the Student Union Building (Oxford Road m13 9PR, in front of the international students association house). You can buy the tickets online: http://www.ticketline.co.uk/

I think this is a good way to get involved with Manchester Culture and improve our english skills.

See you tomorrow.

  3. Nice one both of you!
I have to say I don't know any of the bands that are going to play in the next month tho...

If you prefer, we could all go to the hard rock cafè. On friday nights there is always some cover bands playing nice tunes from 10pm. There is no entrance fee and it's very enjoyable!

  4. I just looked at the schedule and there are some nice things happening. You are right about being a good way to 'get involved with Manchester culture' - yes, take part, and enjoy.

One of my favourite bands is playing in october Carter USM, strongly recommend the chance to see lots of 30-40 (+) something men having fun and remebering their teenage years!!
PJ Harvey, the drums, Sebadoh,King Creosote, the blueones, G-Love and many more are of 'my youth' :)

  5. PWEI too, i am sure that my choices are not to everyone's taste. Manchester has an amazing musical legacy. Frederico was talking about a documentary which featured, among others the Happy Mondays, The Stone Roses, The Smiths...
